We stayed in cabin #2. The TV didn't work, the walls were paper thin, and they had the smallest heater for the space. However! The bed was comfortable, the service was great, and the room was within walking distance of amenities. Will stay again. The restaurant is pricey and the food disappointing. However the atmosphere is great and the Bake does throw some fun events. Stayed in an "economy cabin" for one night. Provided towels had hair in them, sheets were dirty, cabin looked as though it was going to fall down on me. This all would be fine if I had spent maybe $25 or $30 on a hostel-like accommodation, but absolutely unacceptable considering it cost EIGHTY-FIVE DOLLARS for me to sleep in this dump. If you're traveling to Denali and this is your budget, save your money and sleep in the car. You'll have a better experience than this. We had a great stay. Communicating is hard with limited service, but for the price, it was worth every penny. Room was adequate, bathrooms clean, friendly neighbors, helpful locals/employees. Don't forget to walk around and explore! Our stay was great! The cabins are within walking distance of basically everything. They have different cabin options and the bathrooms and showers are better than camping showers. Staff is also nice and friendly. We will likely stay here again. Awesome experience. Delicious food and drinks. Coffee is really good too. Staff is polite and courteous. Crooked building which makes it a fun part and village type ambience which is a total plus.
