Nice location, nice rooms, excellent view of the mountain ranges. The rooms are a bit small, but quaint... like you'd be in a log cabin. The shuttles to downtown run late up to ~10pm, so easy to go into town for less expensive bite; anyways walk up the hill in return is a good workout! The check-in lady gave free vouchers for a day's breakfast, so saved some $s. Recommend. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Shuttles are convenient. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. The only thing that did not meet expectations was the view. I had a balcony that looked at another unit. The upper floor would probably have had a better view. My wife and I stopped here on our honeymoon. We stayed in their newer set of cabins and they were beautiful, with a balcony view that couldn't be beat. The staff left a honeymoon dessert in our fridge and we're extremely helpful in recommending trails through the reserve. My experience in Denali and the hotel were amazing and I'm sad I have to spend today on the train back down to Anchorage. Easy 5 stars, wish I could give it more. The best hotel for having a nice staying in Denali, Alaska. You feel like home. Good services, polite employees and the food is really good! The location is great it's very close to the visitor center and surrounded by different things to do on the strip. The rooms are nice and have a cabin feel too them. The only con was it was hot one day but there's no air conditioning and the fan they give the room is very tiny. The service was really great though and the people are very friendly.
