My husband and I did this tour last night, and we had a blast with Eric, Wes, and Jack. We each had our own 4-wheeler, while most of the others in the group had side-by-side ATV's. We enjoyed the trails, the views, and the short discussions about Alaskan wildlife, plants...etc., at each stop. Caleb, the bus driver, was great at story telling, and even stopped to allow us to take pics of 3 moose on the side of the road, as he took us back to the hotel. We have ridden 4-wheelers of our own for over 30 years, and we were not disappointed in the way we were allowed to handle theirs at Denali ATV Adventures. It was a lot of fun! Great group ATV ride. It is a guided scenic ATV tour, which was great for our group. Mild to moderate trail difficulty. Nothing that a beginner with a little guidance couldn't handle. We were in a large group, (about 14 with a few guides), mix of single and side by side machines. They did a great job of spacing the stops and giving opportunity to take pictures and answer questions. Even though we were in a large group the pace was excellently maintained, not too fast or slow. Rachel, Jack, and Gary did a great job of assisting the group, helped taking pictures, answered questions, and told stories of the surrounding area. Excellent views, really cool riding on the riverbed. We even enjoyed our shuttle ride from the hotel, great stories and jokes from Bob, we even saw a family of moose on the way in and Bob got us a great photo opportunity. Go in with the right expectations, but it was all fun! Our trip with Denali ATV Adventures was a blast! My boyfriend and I rode the Wolverine and we had the perfect weather conditions. The trails were wet and muddy making the experience that much more fun, exciting & dirty. He said this was his top adventure during our 2 weeks in Alaska. The guides were super friendly and knowledge about the trails. We would go again! I wouldn't say it was a joke or a scam, but there are things you should know. You're not allowed to drive very fast, the terrain is pretty much up a hill, down a hill, into a river bed, then up and down another hill. The terrain was really uneven in some parts and honestly felt a little dangerous at times. It was fun to be out in the woods, but it's not very isolated and I wouldn't say it's an "adventure." The views are beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful. Had a great time with Wes, Gary, and Rachel. We had some slow people but Rachel made is stay back so we could go fast! Got super muddy! The trail starts off a little slow and not exciting but it gets so fun at the end if you are willing to get wet! Would go again!
