Good clean new motel room. We had the queen basic room, it had 1 queen bed that was comfortable, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, sofa and desk. Bathroom had large shower and they supply soap and shampoo. Only 2 small nightstand sized drawers and small hanging area, so not a lot of room to unpack clothes. Also curtain does ok job but didn't block out the sun enough for us with the long Alaska summer days. True blackout curtains would be better. Good value for glitter gulch! Very tight for big rigs. Only a single sewer dump. Can't make turns on main interior road without backing up - twice. Entry road is hard to find and poorly marked. Sites are so narrow that I could only open a slide on one side. Water and electric are combined at every other site forcing half of the rigs to hook up from the wrong side - extension cord and multiple water hoses required. However, it is close to Denali Park. A great place to stay for the Denali Road Lottery weekend. After a long day of driving from Anchorage to Denali National Park and Preserve a warm comfortable room felt amazing. The next day having the same warm comfortable room to return to after a long day of driving on the Denali Park Road was heavenly. Stay two nights, you will feel much more relaxed. The management at Denali Rainbow Village & RV were easy to contact; gave me some tips on what to expect for the Denali Road Lottery; and they told me what food is available and restaurant closing times. Everything is closed or closing the weekend of the Denali Road Lottery, so bring extra food and money. Some of the shops have 80% off prices. The parking is a little tight here if you stay in a motel room. If your room is on the second level then expect the stairs to be steep, so step carefully. No issues with anything in the room and neighbors were quiet. Exceptionally clean, reasonably priced (for the season) quiet motel 1 mile from Denali park. Best feature is the staff: excellent knowledge of the area and how-to regarding Denali park features, tours and how to make the most of ones time there. Available at a moment's notice for shuttles to and from the park and surrounding area. I was able to get a queen sized room with a kitchen only one week ahead! Level RV sites with potable water, electric outlet, TV (analog as of 2017.08.20) coax connection. There's also a dump station in the park. Also paid showers, laundry, etc... Nice service.
