The water is NOT DRINKABLE! At checkout I complained about the water to the Bulgarian women at the front desk and she said to me "Were you promised drinkable water at check-in? This is the cheapest place in town." The room was $259 a night! The water has a funny resemblance to the grey, silty river water running right by the hotel. They did not offer to discount our room due to the water and only insultingly asked the above question and also stated that they drink the water all the time. The only "restaurants" on the premise are two food trucks. For the price you are much better off staying closer to the park entrance. Excellent Mexican food truck inside the hotel area!!! Hotel is clean, great view to the river, spacious, just wish we could've had free wifi. I adore the feeling of the wooden cabin, and the river flowing beside it.The place where cabin meets the river is truly a riveting experience and during sunsets and sunrises the view phenomenal. A great place to stay with a lot to do. This is the stepping off place to Denali National Park. Take the bus and enjoy. You will enjoy the resort and river that runs next to it. Take advantage of everything if you get the chance. We stay there 2 nights, the place was clean, but had alot of bad to it , 1 there beds were the terrible, hard as a rock, 2 they said they had breakfast in the mornings and they did not, 3 the office didn't open til 9 am after all the tours were going
