We toured 3 different dog sled locations while on our Alaska adventure (each of us picked one) and I have to say, that this location (picked by my youngest; because you are greeted with a puppy) was hands down our FAVORITE dog sled operation!!! Not only did the dogs seemed exceptionally well taken care of and loved but the overall presentation and educational aspect was far better then anywhere else. There was plenty of puppy time and lots of comfortable seating for the presentations. They actually had a giant treadmill for the dog teams to work out on (can see it in rear of one of our pictures) and giant dog wheels to run on - that surprisingly the dogs seemed to love using. Not only that but we were privileged to meet the famous Jeff King and his daughter. His stories of sled dog racing were entertaining and fascinating and he was such a nice man and genuinely loves his dogs. All around the best dog sled visit we had! Loved it and highly recommend it.
