In taking an air tour, the sights are the same regardless of the tour company. What makes Denali Air stand out is the way they make each customer feel important and special. They were warm and friendly. They consistently went above and beyond anything we expected in an effort to please and give the customer the trip of a lifetime. When we made a request, they not only were not resistant; but instead, gave us twice what we requested. This was true on big issues; but it was also true on the smallest details. For example, an employee spent a lot of time helping one member of our group find the pull-over that had the most flattering color and had the best fit for that member. We discovered that, when you do business with Denali Air, you can rest assured that they will take better care of you than you would have done. For me, this is saying a lot because I am a detail person and am particular about how things are done. I think, when all the flight tours are offering the same sights, these personal and business qualities make Denali Air stand out and make Denali Air the superior choice. One of the highlights on our trip to Alaska. Denali Air is definitely a hidden gem right near the park entrance. They are family owned and truly love what they do. After another flightseeing operator wasted our time, Denali Air saved the day for my family.... They made us feel like part of theirs! Our pilot Bob was engaging and fun. His Piper Navajo aircraft was clean and well maintained. Views of Mt. Denali from Bob's plane were breathtaking. He knew exactly how to get the plane into position for the best possible viewing. While the star attraction was Mt. Denali, Bob pointed out numerous other equally as amazing sights along the way. My wife and daughter talked about this experience for days afterward. We can't wait to come back for another flight. P.S. Maybe I will have my pilots license by then. Experienced pilots who clearly love what they do. Well maintained, comfortable aircraft and a wealth of education about what you are flying over mean the tour of Denali is not only memorable for the beauty and majesty of the mountain but also for what you learn about the geology and history of this unique place. It was a superb decision and an absolute thrill and highlight of our Alaska trip. Nothing compares to this experience and the good weather afforded us photos of a lifetime.
